Thayer would rather be investigating the shadowed history of a old mansion in order to determine the source of its restless phantoms; or tailing a suspect into a glitzy speakeasy on foggy, rain-drenched streets with nothing but a .45 and his wits; or maybe delving into some long forgotten crypt in search of eldritch knowledge.
But as most of that isn’t possible in our current reality or time period, you’ll maybe find him hunched over a keyboard or typewriter drafting stories of that nature with the help of his cat and the powers that be. When Thayer isn’t writing, he further resists his current temporal placement by reading the classics, antique hunting, fencing, collecting vinyl records, and playing the viola.
