About

Thayer Yates would rather be investigating the shadowed history of a haunted manor in order to determine the source of its restless phantoms. Or tailing a suspect to a glitzy speakeasy on foggy, rain-drenched streets with nothing but a .45 and his wits. Or perhaps delving into a long forgotten crypt now choked with ivy in search of a book containing lost eldritch knowledge.
But since most of that isn’t possible in our current reality or time period, you’ll maybe find him hunched over a keyboard or typewriter drafting stories of that nature with the help of his cat and the powers that be; hoping that if he arranges 26 different letters into the right orders: you too can experience the worlds, characters, and stories that exist only within the mind's eye until committed to print. When Thayer isn’t writing, he further contends with his current temporal residence by reading the classics, collecting antiques, fencing (with a preference for épée), collecting vinyl records, and playing viola and guitar.
